Paju Jangneung Royal Tomb
파주 장릉
The joint tomb of Injo and Queen Inyeol. When it was moved, the old stone figures were kept alongside newly carved ones, so seventeenth- and eighteenth-century tomb statuary stands side by side.

What to see
Jangneung
Jangneung is the tomb of Injo, the 16th king of Joseon, and his first queen Inyeol of the Han clan. The two lie together under a single mound: seen from the front, Injo is on the left and Queen Inyeol on the right. The stone objects now at the mound include both those from the former Jangneung and others carved after the move, so tomb statuary of the seventeenth and the eighteenth centuries stands side by side.

Paju Samneung Royal Tombs
Gongneung, Sulleung and Yeongneung in one precinct. Of the three, only Sulleung was built to the full royal-tomb form — its occupant alone died holding the rank of queen.
Goyang Stadium
Since Seoul World Cup Stadium restricted pitch-level hire to protect its grass, this has become the capital region's most-used stadium for concerts. It is in Goyang, not Seoul.
KINTEX
The exhibition and convention complex at Ilsan in Goyang, whose halls are turned over to large fan meetings and awards shows. It is in Gyeonggi rather than Seoul, so the journey from a Seoul hotel is its own calculation.
Imjingak
Imjingak is the last place you can reach without permission. Everything beyond it — the tunnel, the observatory, the station — needs an ID check and a booked seat, and all three depart from here. Treat it as both a destination and a departure gate.
