Korea is one of the easiest countries in the world to travel in — once you know a few local rules. Foreign visitors, though, often hit the same small walls: the map app doesn't give walking directions, a card gets declined at a great restaurant, or a kiosk only speaks Korean.

This site collects clear, practical answers to those everyday questions. We focus on transport, payment, ordering food, and getting around, plus honest picks for where to eat. Everything is written for first-time visitors.

How the content works

Articles are written and maintained as plain files, then published straight to the web. There are no accounts or comments. Where enabled, basic analytics and advertising are described on our Privacy Policy page. We're also working on Japanese and Chinese versions of this site.
