The park itself is open every day with no gate and no admission charge. The times above are the Danubi train's running hours; the ticket office opens at 09:00 and shuts at the last-admission time. A descent-support bus runs after the last train — 17:30 to 18:30 on peak weekdays and off-peak, 18:30 to 19:30 on peak Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays. The train stops running in rain or bad weather.

Is Taejongdae free?

The park is free and open every day. The Danubi Train is a separate ticket, bought at the booth about 200 m above the main-gate information centre, and parking is charged.
