Five Gardens and Green Places in Jeonnam: Suncheonman, the Wetland, Juknokwon, Gwanbangjerim and the Metasequoia Lane
Five gardens and green places across Suncheon and Damyang, set out by how their tickets work. A Suncheonman National Garden ticket also admits you to the wetland 7 km away, though the half-price night ticket does not, and Damyang's three cost KRW 5,000 together with KRW 2,000 refunded as a voucher.

These five green places in Jeonnam sit in two towns — two in Suncheon, three in Damyang — and the ticket works in opposite ways in each.
Suncheon sells one ticket for two places: the national garden and the wetland are 7 km apart and share it. Damyang does the reverse, three tickets at three sites — which together still cost less than Suncheon's one, and part of which comes back. So the first thing to settle here is which town you are going to.
Suncheon — one ticket for two places, 7 km apart
Suncheonman National Garden and Suncheonman Bay Wetland are 7 km apart and share a ticket. A garden ticket admits you to the wetland; a wetland ticket admits you to the garden, and in that direction you must produce it at the gate. A ticket is valid for the day it is bought and no longer.
Adults KRW 10,000, youth and military KRW 7,000, children KRW 5,000. Groups of 20 or more pay KRW 6,000 / KRW 5,000 / KRW 3,000, and Suncheon residents KRW 2,000 / KRW 1,500 with children free.
Pricing the two separately doubles the figure. KRW 10,000 is what one town's two sites cost together.
But the half-price night ticket is not the same thing, cheaper
The night ticket is KRW 5,000 for adults, KRW 3,500 for youth and military, KRW 2,500 for children — exactly half. It is sold 17:00–19:00 and admits you until 20:00.
The price is not the only half. The wetland does not accept the night ticket at all, so the "one ticket, two places" above does not apply to this one.
And the operator publishes, in a table, which facilities have already shut or are about to when the ticket goes on sale at 17:00.

So the night ticket is best read as a ticket to the garden after dark rather than a discount on the daytime visit. If the wetland, the zoo or the therapy garden are on your list, buy a day ticket.
The combined ticket including the Sky Cube (garden + wetland + Sky Cube) is KRW 14,000 for adults, KRW 12,000 for youth and military, KRW 8,000 for children, and KRW 4,000 for ages 3–6.
Damyang — three tickets, KRW 5,000 together, and KRW 2,000 of it comes back
Damyang's three are bought separately. Together they still cost less than one Suncheon ticket.
- Juknokwon — KRW 3,000 adults, KRW 1,500 youth and military, KRW 1,000 primary-school children. It closes at 19:00 from March to October (last entry 18:00) and at 18:00 from November to February (last entry 17:30) — an hour's difference depending on the season.
- Metasequoia Lane — KRW 2,000 adults, KRW 1,000 youth, military and children — and the full admission is refunded immediately in Damyang Love gift vouchers.
- Gwanbangjerim — no ticket. No gate, and no opening hours either.
The refund is not the same as free. What comes back is not cash but a voucher spendable only in Damyang. Eat or buy something there and the effective cost is zero; drive straight on to the next town and you have spent KRW 2,000. Most guides call this lane a free country road, which it is not, and it is not a straightforward paid attraction either.
The three are also within 2 km of each other. Gwanbangjerim's entrance is about 800 m from Juknokwon's front gate, and Damyang County's own Obang-gil route allows 20 minutes for that stretch. Buying three tickets does not mean travelling three times.

The National Garden closes on the last Monday of each month.
Damyang's three figures were not re-checked today
Suncheon's fees were read again from the operator's pages while writing this. Damyang's could not be: the Juknokwon and Damyang County pages are rendered in JavaScript, so the documents that come back carry no numbers at all.
Damyang's three prices are therefore what this site verified on 2026-08-10, and the source links above are the pages read that day.

Frequently asked questions
Do the Suncheon garden and wetland need separate tickets?
No. They are 7 km apart and share one ticket. A ticket bought at the national garden admits you to the wetland, and one bought at the wetland admits you to the garden — in that direction you have to produce it at the gate. It is valid only on the day of purchase. Budgeting for both separately doubles the cost you actually pay.
Is the half-price night ticket worth it?
Buy it knowing that more than the price is halved. The wetland cannot be entered on a night ticket at all, so the one-ticket-two-places rule does not apply to it. The operator also publishes what is already shut or shutting when night tickets go on sale at 17:00: the zoo and therapy garden at 17:00, the Ferris wheel at 17:40 and the Sky Cube at 18:00. Read it as a different ticket — one for the garden after dark — rather than a cheap version of the same thing.
What does it cost to see all three in Damyang?
Juknokwon at 3,000 won and the metasequoia lane at 2,000 make 5,000 together, and Gwanbangjerim has no ticket. But the metasequoia lane returns its whole admission immediately as a Damyang Love voucher, so if you spend that voucher locally the real cost is 3,000. The refund is not the same as free, though: what comes back is a voucher usable only in Damyang, so leaving straight for the next city means you did spend the 2,000.
Can I walk between Damyang's three?
Yes. All three are within 2 km of each other, and the entrance to Gwanbangjerim is about 800 m from Juknokwon's main gate — the county's Obang-gil route allots 20 minutes to that stretch. Buying three tickets does not mean making three journeys.
Are any of them closed on particular days?
Suncheonman National Garden closes on the last Monday of each month. This site has not found a regular closing day for any of Damyang's three. Juknokwon's closing time does move with the season: 19:00 from March to October with last entry at 18:00, and 18:00 from November to February with last entry at 17:30.
