Nanji Hangang Park

The Nanji campsite has general and free-pitch zones, a glamping zone, a barbecue zone and a campfire zone. You book through Seoul's public-service reservation site before using it, and it closes on the second Tuesday of every month for grounds maintenance.

The riverside water-play area is built as an infinity pool — the closest view of the river anywhere in the park, the operator says — and kept to a maximum depth of 80 cm so that families with young children can use it together. It holds 1,100 people and opens each summer.

The Nanji cycling park holds a central plaza, a BMX and MTB course, an extreme-riding area and a training ground for small children; the hire point is under the north end of World Cup Bridge. The Nanji ecological wetland, created in 2010 by drawing river water into an artificial marsh, was planted with some 200,000 specimens across about 50 species of aquatic and flowering plants; it is a wildlife protection area and runs a bookable ecology programme. There is an archery range downstream of Gayang Bridge on the north side and a baseball field beside the campsite.

The operator lists the park's amenities as two shops, three car parks, 14 toilets, one playground, plus drinking fountains, sun shelters and seating.
