Namsangol Hanok Village

남산골한옥마을

Five hanok moved onto the northern slope of Namsan beside Chungmuro Station, with a traditional garden laid around them. The houses open Tuesday to Sunday and rest on Mondays; closing time differs by an hour between summer and winter. There is nothing to pay at the gate.

Language

A lane in Namsangol Hanok Village: a hanok on the left with weathered timber posts, latticed paper doors and a railed veranda, a wall of rounded stones set in mortar running along the right, and a sandy path passing between them under a clear sky above the tiled roofs.
