Starfield Library Suwon

별마당 도서관 수원점

Same name as the COEX one, a different building in a different city. The open stacks sit at the centre of Starfield Suwon, visible from anywhere on floors 4 through 7, and a separate children's library — Starfield Kids — keeps the same hours. Admission is free to anyone, and the first six hours of parking are free, which is long enough that arriving by car does not put you on a clock.

Frequently asked questions

Can I bring children?

Yes. There is a separate children's space, Starfield Kids, open the same 10:00-22:00 hours. The operator describes it as a public library made for all children.

What does parking cost?

Free for the first six hours, then 500 won per 10 minutes (3,000 won an hour, 18,000 won a day maximum). The main car park runs B3 to B8; when it is full, the Daeyupyeong Park car park on B1-B2 connects to the building through a walkway on B2.

Stories about this place

  • Who Sets the Opening Hours Here

Incheon Chinatown's listing has no opening-hours field at all. Gangneung Coffee Street's says 'varies by shop'. Sokcho and Seomun markets print times and then print the same caveat beside them. Mudeungsan is open around the clock but the weather closes it, and Sungsimdang never shuts but sells out. Ten places, ten different answers to one question.
