Everland
에버랜드
Nobody can tell you when Everland closes, because Everland does not publish a standing closing time — it publishes one per day. What it does publish is a price list, and the shape of that list tells you the shape of the day: a full-day pass, an afternoon pass, and a night pass that admits you from 18:00.

Korean Folk Village
The operator says outright that its hours move with the season and the weather, and it means it: in August 2026 the village runs a night season closing at midnight, and the only passes on sale are 16:00 and 18:00 entries. Read the dated notice for your day before planning anything around it.

Hwadamsup
A private arboretum run by the LG Evergreen Foundation as a public-service undertaking. It opened formally in 2013 across 165,265 square metres laid out as sixteen themed gardens, planted with some 4,000 species of native and introduced plants. The ground is a hillside, steep enough that a monorail runs it. The thing that catches out first-time visitors is that there are no tickets at the gate.
Suwon Convention Center
The exhibition and conference complex at Gwanggyo in Suwon's Yeongtong district. Most stops on Suwon City's filming-location course cluster around the fortress wall and this one is out in the Gwanggyo new town, so it needs its own trip rather than joining a walk along the wall.
Silla Galbi
A Suwon galbi house in Woncheon-dong. Its Century Shop citation records that it has served the same salt-seasoned fresh ribs since it opened.
Frequently asked questions
Is there a cheaper way in?
Usually, but it is conditional. Partner-card rates run 45 to 50 per cent off with a specific card, monthly promotions have discounted adult and child day passes, and there is a Wednesday Culture Day rate. All of them are tied to a card, a date or a group.
Can I book animal programmes?
Yes, separately, and they are priced as experiences rather than tickets — the panda academy at 45,000 won, the giraffe academy at 40,000, keeper-led Lost Valley and safari tours at 350,000, and the elephant programme at 450,000. The two special tours open bookings at 15:00 each Monday for the following week.

- Six Day Trips Near Seoul: Everland, Korean Folk Village, Hwaseong, the Garden of Morning Calm, Nami Island and Jarasum
Six day trips within reach of Seoul, compared on admission and opening hours. Everland sets its closing time by date, Hwaseong's quoted 2,000 won is the price of Hwaseong Haenggung rather than the walls, and Nami Island's ticket includes the round-trip boat.
