Eungbongsan
응봉산
A low hill of 81 metres in Eungbong-dong, Seongdong-gu. The octagonal pavilion at the top looks clear across the Han and the city beyond it, which is why people climb it after dark; in early April the whole hill goes yellow with forsythia.

Seoul Forest
The park is open 24 hours and never closes, but almost everything worth timing inside it does — the ecological forest, both conservatories and the floor fountain all keep separate hours, and the two indoor ones shut on Mondays. Tents, sun shelters and awnings are banned outright, which is the rule most picnic plans get wrong.
Olympic Gymnasium, Hanyang University
The indoor hall on Hanyang University's Seoul campus, an Olympic venue in 1988 that stayed a university building afterwards. Its name is close enough to the arena in Olympic Park to be confused with it regularly.
Hanilkwan Apgujeong
A Korean set-menu house that opened in Jongno in 1939 as a bulgogi restaurant and later moved to Apgujeong; it serves by the table setting.
Dwaeji Gomtang Hau Seongsu
A gomtang house working on a clear pork broth.

Where these facts come from
- Seongdong-gu tourism — Eungbongsan (road address, ten minutes on foot from Eungbong Station) ·
- Seoul Love (the city magazine) — on Eungbongsan: 81 metres, the night view from the pavilion, and the forsythia in early April ·
- OpenStreetMap — the 응봉산 summit node, agreeing within 30 m with the 응봉산 공원 relation. The record's address is a trailhead in 응봉동 and the summit falls in 금호동4가; for a mountain the representative point is the summit, not the trailhead. Reverse-geocodes to 성동구, matching the record. ·
