My Name Yeongdo Filming Route — a Half-Day That Starts by Walking a Bridge
A half-day route linking only the three My Name locations on Yeongdo. You walk across Busan Bridge onto the island, spend the time at Kangkangee Arts Village, and finish along Haeyang-ro without leaving Yeongdo.
Language

Three of the four My Name locations in Busan are on Yeongdo, and this route links those three. The fourth, Haedong Yonggungsa, is 20 km away in Gijang and is deliberately left out — adding it turns a half-day into a half-day of travelling.
Before you set out
The first stop is also the transport
Busan Bridge is both something to see and the way onto the island. Walking it gets the first stop and the journey done at once.
The metro does not reach the island
No Busan metro line runs onto Yeongdo. Everything here is bus or on foot, so check the bus routes before you go rather than after you arrive.
This is a working quarter
Kangkangee Arts Village is a live ship-repair district. Keep active yards and the people working in them out of your photographs.
Do not add Haedong Yonggungsa to this route
It is a location from the same series, but it is 20 km away in Gijang with no direct metro link. Forcing it into this half-day costs close to two hours of travelling in each direction. It belongs on a Haeundae or Gijang day instead.
Give the time to Kangkangee
It is the only one of the three with a visitor programme and the only one you can properly stay in. The other two are a bridge and the outside of an office building, so if you are running short, shorten those rather than this. Check its opening days and hours before you go.
Notes on getting between the stops
The bus timing is approximate, and Yeongdo's streets are narrow and winding enough that the time of day makes a real difference. The coast guard station is not a stop you stay at, so if you have time left it is natural to keep going along the shore towards Huinnyeoul Culture Village or Taejongdae. Kangkangee is the only one of the three with opening hours at all, so build the day around those.
