Yongmeori Coast
A sea cliff where the foot of Sanbangsan runs out into the water, named for its likeness to a dragon's head going under. Volcanic debris from three craters offshore piled up here and the waves cut it into layered, curving rock. In front of the cliff — about 700 m long and 25 to 40 m high — a flat wave-cut platform carries the walking route. The monument to Hendrick Hamel's 1653 shipwreck, put up in 1980, stands nearby. What governs a visit is not the posted timetable but the tide on the day: at high water or in heavy swell the route is closed outright.

Osulloc Tea Museum
The museum itself is free and takes under an hour; the tea fields around it are the reason most people stay longer. It sits in Andeok, in Jeju's south-west — a long way from Seogwipo city and from Jeongbang, so plan it with the west, not with the south coast.

Hallim Park
A private theme park immediately south of Hyeopjae Beach. The publisher describes nine themed sections across a hundred thousand pyeong; besides the palm avenue and the gardens, lava tubes including Hyeopjaegul and Ssangyonggul lie inside it. What is worth noticing on this record is that the operator states its times only as when ticketing opens and when it closes, and publishes no closing time for the park at all.

Saebyeol Oreum
Choose the east trail unless you want the climb: the west one is the steeper of the two. It is open all year with no forest-fire closure period, which is not true of every Jeju trail, and the Jeju Fire Festival held here no longer sets the hillside alight — see the article.
