The Seoul branch of the national contemporary art museum, on Samcheong-ro east of Gyeongbokgung. There is no single admission price — each exhibition is priced on its own — and entry is free on Wednesday and Saturday from 18:00 to 21:00 and on the last Wednesday of each month.

    Six national and city institutions sit within walking distance of Gyeongbokgung, and no two of them run their late evening on the same schedule. The Palace Museum opens Saturday, the Seoul Museum of History Friday, MMCA Seoul and the contemporary-history museum Wednesday and Saturday, the Folk Museum on Wednesdays from March to October. Only Jogyesa publishes no hours at all.
