Jeongneung Royal Tomb
정릉
It opens at 06:00 under the early-admission rule, so it doubles as a morning walking route. It is the tomb of Queen Sindeok, King Taejo’s second queen, and its stone lantern is the oldest stone object at any Joseon royal tomb.

Jaesil (Ritual House)
The ritual house is both the working quarters of the officials who managed the tomb and the place where the memorial rites were prepared.

Jeongneung
Jeongneung is the tomb of Queen Sindeok of the Kang clan, second queen of Taejo, the founding king of Joseon. It was moved to this site in 1409 and given the form of a royal tomb in 1669. Of the stone objects on the mound, only the stone lantern and the drum-shaped supports under the offering table survive from the original tomb; the rest were made afresh in King Hyeonjong's reign. The lantern follows the style of the Goryeo king Gongmin's tomb and is the oldest stone object at any Joseon royal tomb.
