Hwangnam Milmyeon
A milmyeon house on Hwangnidan-gil. Milmyeon began as displaced northerners' wheat-flour substitute for naengmyeon and took hold first in Busan.
Daereungwon Tomb Complex
Walking the grounds is free; only Cheonmachong, the one mound you can go inside, charges. Ticketing closes at 21:30, so an evening walk is a real option.
Gyeongju Wonjo Kongguk
A sixty-year-old shop near the front gate of Daereungwon, serving warm soybean soup topped with black sesame, honey and a glutinous-rice doughnut.
Hongdukkae Guksi
A small noodle house near the central market, hand-rolling its own fresh noodles; the soybean broth is seasoned with pickled water-dropwort rather than salt.

Is there free parking?
The Hwangnidan-gil car park at Hwangnam-dong 157-4 is currently free on a temporary basis; the Nodong public car park nearby is paid. Being temporary, the free arrangement may not last.
How long should I allow?
Treat it as a meal plus a walk rather than a fixed block. It sits between the tomb park and the pond, so it adds no travel time to a central Gyeongju day.
Is it good at night?
Less so. Daereungwon, Donggung and Woljeonggyo all stay open to 22:00 and the evening crowd moves to them. Eat here before the night circuit rather than after it.
What is Daereungwon Doldam-gil?
A stone-wall lane the city signposts separately, running from the Hwangnam-bbang main shop at 783 Taejong-ro to the Daereungwon main gate. No set hours, and known for spring blossom.
