Hyeopjae Beach
협재해수욕장
A beach in Hallim-eup on Jeju's west side, on Jeju Olle Trail Course 14. The sand is pale with crushed shell in it, the slope is gentle and the water shallow, and it runs into Geumneung Beach next door, which is why the two are usually called the twin beaches. Biyangdo sits offshore. The publisher lists the site as open at all times, but the bathing season — when it is staffed and supervised — covers only part of the summer, and that distinction is what decides when to come.

- The beach itself is open at all times, and the only times the publisher attaches to it belong to the bathing season. In 2026 that season, when the beach is staffed and supervised, runs from 24 June to 6 September with hours of 10:00-19:00, extended to 21:00 from 15 July to 15 August. Those are the hours supervision is provided rather than hours of opening and closing, so they are not written as hours rules here. The situation room on 064-728-3981 operates only during the season. Whether tubes are for hire and at what price, and the rules on dogs and on entering the swimming area, are all marked by the publisher as needing official confirmation, and it gives no values for them.

A private theme park immediately south of Hyeopjae Beach. The publisher describes nine themed sections across a hundred thousand pyeong; besides the palm avenue and the gardens, lava tubes including Hyeopjaegul and Ssangyonggul lie inside it. What is worth noticing on this record is that the operator states its times only as when ticketing opens and when it closes, and publishes no closing time for the park at all.
Gwakji Gwamul Beach
The designated season is the whole planning problem: outside it the shore is open but unstaffed, and inside it Gwakji is one of the beaches that closes at 19:00 with no evening extension. It is also the far end of the Handam Coastal Trail, so it is rarely worth driving to on its own.
Arte Museum Jeju
An immersive media-art gallery built inside a former speaker factory. It opens every day of the year, and admission closes an hour before the doors do.
Handam Coastal Trail
The path and Gwakji Gwamul Beach are the two ends of the same walk, which is the fact that decides how to plan them: they are one stop, not two. West-facing, so the sunset end of the day belongs here.
